It now has a fast, easy-access compartment for your laptop, and a second compartment with pockets to keep everything else tidy. A strap attaches to your suitcase for travel, and the adjustable handle can be worn on the shoulder or shortened for hand carry.
Your laptop, easy to reach
Opening a bag to find your laptop usually means emptying everything else first. We built a separate compartment so one part of the bag stays dedicated to work, and the rest stays exactly where you left it.
Handles that adjust to you
The leather handles adjust in six steps on each side, so you can shorten them for hand carry or lengthen them for the shoulder. One bag adapts to both, without switching straps or changing how you hold it.
Ready for how you travel
A trolley strap sits in a hidden pocket on the back of the bag. Pull it out, slide it over your suitcase handle, and the bag rides on top instead of being one more thing to carry.
Our bags are designed in Zurich and handmade in Italy from Italian leather. This new SEEFELD edition comes in black pebbled leather, greige pebbled leather and dark brown suede.

Up to 14". We tested it with a 14" MacBook Pro and a classic 14" Lenovo — both go in without a sleeve. The compartment is padded and sits on the outside of the bag, so you reach your laptop directly, without opening the main compartment.
The shape, the laptop compartment and the handles.
The previous SEEFELD was close to a rectangle. This one has a wider base, a slightly narrower top and more depth, which gives it a different silhouette.
The laptop compartment used to lose a lot of space to its own construction. The zip is now fully integrated and takes up very little room, so the space goes to your laptop instead.
The handles came in one fixed length before. We removed the extra metal hardware and worked with pins instead, so you can adjust the length yourself. That opens up more ways to carry the bag, and it leaves a more minimal, timeless look.
A full working day: laptop, charger, A4 documents, wallet, notebook, cosmetics bag and a 0.5 l bottle standing upright (a 0.75 l bottle only fits lying down). Four open pockets and one zip pocket keep it in order, and the internal framework holds the shape — the bag stands upright on its own, even empty. Outside dimensions 38.5 × 25 × 16 cm, small enough to fit under an airplane seat.
Both are certified Italian leather.
The pebbled leather (1.35 kg) is the unfussy one: the grain hides small scratches and marks, and it takes rain and daily wear without much thought. Greige stays cleaner than most people expect.
The suede (1.2 kg) is lighter and softer in character. It reacts more to water and grease, so it wants a protector spray before first use and a brush now and then.
By hand or on the shoulder. The leather handles adjust in six steps on each side, so the drop runs from 12.5 to 34 cm — the long setting sits comfortably over a winter coat. There is no crossbody strap. For travel, a trolley strap sits in a pocket on the back and slides over your suitcase handle.
Spray it with a suede protector before you first use it, and brush it with a soft suede brush now and then. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally, never on a radiator. Store it in the ALEMI dust bag it comes with. More in our leather care guide.

You have 14 days after receiving your order to register a return, with the bag unused and all components included. You book the label in our returns portal — nothing to pay upfront, the return fee is deducted from your refund (EUR 10 Germany, CHF 12 Switzerland, or free if you drop it off at our Zurich store).
