Inspired by the meaning of second love in real life, these bags are all about finding beauty in the flawed and giving a home to what might have been discarded.

This year, the SECOND LOVE SALE takes place in-store in Zurich – accompanied, for the first time, by an exclusive online weekend for our newsletter community (see below).

Most fashion brands destroy imperfect products that experience rocky transport, stressful return processes, or have already received a lot of attention from customers in the showroom. Quite frankly, it breaks our hearts to see how many industry players treat the resources and labor that went into those products so carelessly and with such disregard for the environment.

To contribute to a sustainable future by reducing waste and promoting responsible consumerism, we are making sure that even products with minor imperfections find new homes.

SECOND LOVE BAGS are AMELI and ALEMI bags that did not pass the final quality control. These bags are made from the same AMELI and ALEMI materials as all of our bags but have minor imperfections that occurred during the production process, transportation, or storage.

These imperfections can be as small as a scratch or a dent, but they do not compromise the quality or functionality of the bag. As part of our commitment to quality and sustainability, the bags are sold at a discounted price. While no two bags are the same, each bag is still made with the same love and care to bring you joy.

Yes. Every bag comes with a description of its flaw on the hangtag, so you know immediately why the bag was reduced – and can make an informed decision on site.

Please note that SECOND LOVE BAGS cannot be returned nor refunded due to their unique nature and minor imperfections. Each bag is inspected in detail and its flaws are documented on the hangtag for you to make an informed purchase. We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our SECOND LOVE BAGS and hope that you will love them as much as we do.

We expect to have more than 120 products available on that day. We will have approx. 60 business bags, 30 small bags and lots of accessories on site.

There are quite a few showroom items with no flaws and only very minor signs of use (such as slightly scratched feet), which are reduced by 10%. Bags with production or storage issues, as well as second-hand bags, are reduced by up to 60% this time – and two single pieces even by 70% and 80%.

During our SECOND LOVE SALE, access to the store is reserved for ticket holders. If capacity allows, we may also admit guests without a ticket – however, entry cannot be guaranteed.

No. Every bag in the SECOND LOVE SALE has been checked by us and is fully functional – you can wear it in everyday life just like any other ALEMI bag. The flaw it has (a scratch in the leather, a small irregularity from production or transport) is exactly why it's discounted – and exactly why it's excluded from our warranty. On the hangtag of every bag you'll find an honest description of its flaw, so you know exactly what you're buying.

For a few selected colourways, we planned more generously than we should have. Instead of letting them sit in storage, these bags get their second chance: during one exclusive online weekend, they are available at a discount for our newsletter community.

This is a one-time exception – not the start of regular sales.

No. The online selection consists of full-quality bags with no defects or compromises. SECOND LOVE BAGS with small imperfections are only available in-store in Zurich.

No – and we want to be very clear about this. We made a mistake and ordered too much of a few colourways. We own that, and we will plan better going forward.

This is a one-time offer for our community: everyone sees the regular prices, only newsletter subscribers receive the discount, and only for this weekend. After Sunday, everything returns to its regular price – for good.
